This drying rack is a nice thing to have. It keeps our shoes and boots warm and dry. Even in dry weather, it's nice to store shoes you wear a lot on this rack. It drives out the perspiration of daily wear. We keep it on all the time.
Pros:
Sturdy, industrial feel. This is not made out of curtain-rod gauge tubular steel, this is thick.
Safe. Does not get very hot, no danger of fire or damage to shoes.
Low power usage.
Wall mountable. I think the best option, takes up less space and no worries of tip-over.
Long holding racks. About 10 inches long, easily holding long rubber boots.
No noise.
No moving parts to break down.
No locker-room smell.
Can be used with gloves and hats.
Cons:
Takes a long time to dry out very wet items, especially if it is in a cold room. This could be a problem if you are in a hurry.
Only four racks, one unit might not be enough for a family because it can take a long time to dry. You need to make it a habit to put another pair on rack when you take a pair off so it will always be drying.
